Fintech company Ripple has placed a vacancy for an expert specialising in digital central bank currencies (CBDC).
The position of Senior Director for Central Bank Relations requires years of experience in sales of corporate technologies and working with financial institutions.
Ripple will give preference to a candidate with Immediate Edge a good knowledge of digital assets and block technology.
The responsibilities of the future employee include managing CBDC projects and establishing communication channels between central banks and various project teams. Another area of responsibility is managing the company’s strategy in this area and building relationships with global regulators.
In September, Chris Larsen, co-founder and executive chairman of Ripple, said that the USA is losing the battle for the global financial system to China, which is on the verge of releasing digital yuan.
